在存贮器芯片内部,如果采用设置备用字/位线的冗余技术,与无此技术的情况相比,每片的故障数一般虽有增加,但芯片成品率却提高了。这是因为,除去不合格部分外,芯片上可以使用的位数增多了。本文论述的冗余方法,就是在芯片上设置备用译码器和备用字线、位线,来替换不合格的字线和位线,而保持对应的同一地址。从应用此法设计的16K存贮器芯片来看,每一硅片上可使用的位数大幅度地增加了。增加的程度随单元结构、设计方式和制作工艺有较大变化。
In the memory chip, if the redundancy technology of setting the spare word / bit line is adopted, the number of failures per chip generally increases compared with the case without the technology, but the chip yield improves. This is because, except for the unqualified part, the number of bits that can be used on the chip is increased. This article discusses the redundancy method is to set up spare chips on the chip and alternate word lines, bit lines, to replace unqualified word lines and bit lines, while maintaining the corresponding address. From the application of this method designed 16K memory chip point of view, the number of bits available on each silicon significantly increased. The degree of increase with the unit structure, design methods and production processes have great changes.
