对泡桐丛枝病的防治,目前尚未找到有效的方法,防治此病需要人工接种,但除嫁接外也无合适的方法。因此,在进行这种病的抗性选择时可把鉴定用的无病木作为砧木,把患病木作为接穗进行嫁接接种,或将砧木和接穗相反的组合(以患病木为砧木,以无病木为接穗),以研究各自的鉴定木发病与否。现在嫁接接种的砧木主要是用苗木制取,如使用根为砧木,则取得砧木比苗木将更加容易。为了研究这个问题,使用了几种根作砧木,并调查成活率和丛枝病发生状况等,其结果报道如下:
