This essay expounds the alteration of Hammer Hall, the interior design and the acoustics design of the performance hall, which won the AIA National Architecture Award in 2013, and hopes to provide reference for designers. Project Background Melbourne Concert Hall, formerly known as Melbourne Concert Hall, is located on the banks of the Yarra River in the center of Melbourne, Australia. It was put into use in 1982 and is mainly used for Symphony performance. In 2004, he replaced his current name with Sir Rupert Hammer, the 39th Prime Minister of Victoria.
