Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of transarterial embolization immedi ately followed by multiple thermal ablation in treatment of large hepatocellular carcino ma(HCC).Materials and Methods: From July 2015 to June 2016,26 patients(22 men and 4 wom en; mean age,50y; range,33–76 y)with 28 large HCC lesions were included in this stu dy.Fifteen(57.7%)had Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer class B disease,and 11(42.3%)ha d class C disease.
