本文描述一种新颖算法和结构.它专门应用于高性能的、数字式的、自适应波束形成中.展示了一种简单的,线性约束自适应组合器如何形成作为一整套自适应天线子系统的基础.这种自适应组合器的功能被公式化成为递归最小平方最小化运算,并借助使用Givens旋转的Q-R分解算法得到相应的加权矢量.也描述了一种有效的流水线结构实现这种算法.它采取三角systolic/wavefront阵列形式,并具有很多超大规模集成电路系统设计需要的特点. This article describes a novel algorithm and structure that is specifically applied to high performance, digital, adaptive beamforming and shows how a simple, linear constrained adaptive combiner can be formed as a complete set of adaptive antenna subsystems The function of this adaptive combiner is formulated as a recursive least square minimization operation and the corresponding weight vector is obtained by means of the QR decomposition algorithm using the Givens rotation.An efficient pipeline structure is also described to implement this algorithm. It takes the form of a triangular systolic / wavefront array and has many of the features required for VLSI system design.
