One summer day，a little sheep was going to have a birthday party. She made a lot of friends，and she asked all her friends to come to her party. The friends came. A cow brought a basket of fresh grass for her. A pig gave her some nice vegetables. A deer sent her some green leaves. Then the God arrived. He liked the little sheep and decided to send her a gift for her birthday. He took out a pair of long and sharp teeth and said，“I?蒺m going to send you these teeth. You?蒺ll become stronger with them.” The little sheep answered，“No，I don?蒺t want them because I?蒺ll look like a wolf with them. Then，my friends won?蒺t play with me any more.”
The God thought for a while and said，“Then，I?蒺ll send you four strong legs. They?蒺ll make you much stronger.”“No，I don?蒺t want such legs. I don?蒺t want to look like a fat elephant.”the sheep answered. At last the God gave the sheep a piece of white clothes and went away. The little sheep put on the new clothes and enjoyed it very much.
The next day，the sheep came to a river with her new clothes. She liked to look at herself in the clear water. Now，a hungry wolf came. The wolf shouted at the sheep：“Why make my water dirty？I?蒺ll eat you.” The little sheep answered：“Mr Wolf，you stand beyond me，and the water runs from you to me. How can I make your water dirty？”“But you ate my food one day when I was away.”“Mr Wolf，you eat meat，but I eat grass. How can I eat your food？”“I won?蒺t speak with you any more.”the wolf shouted and jumped at the sheep.
Just then，a farmer arrived.“What?蒺s the matter with you two？”he stopped the wolf and asked. The sheep told the farmer the whole story.“Don?蒺t worry. I have a big bag here. There are lots of meat in it.”the farmer said and opened the bag. The hungry wolf jumped quickly into the bag. The farmer closed the bag and hit the bag hard. The little sheep cried out：“Don?蒺t kill it，please.”“If the wolf comes out，it will eat you!”The farmer beat the bag harder until the wolf was dead.
Since then，the little sheep could play with her friends happily and go to the river to drink water every day.
