王柏及其所传承的金华朱学向来被目为朱子理学的嫡脉,而他与朱熹思想的差异之处,则被认为是朱子学说在新的历史时期的新的发展。实际上,王柏以及北山四子的思想与宋代前期、中期的程朱理学有着许多不同。这些不同看似微细,却导致了失之毫厘、谬以千里的结果。正是这些无声无息的偏离使元明时期的理学呈现出与两宋时期相悖的入世面貌。这种现象的产生是理学早期所受宗教思想影响式微和后期所受浙学事功思想跃进的结果。
Wang Bai and his inheritance of Jinhua Zhu Xue have always been regarded as the cradle of Zhu’s neo-Confucianism, and the differences between him and Zhu Xi thought are regarded as the new development of Zhu Xi’s theory in the new historical period. In fact, the ideas of Wang Bai and Beishan Sizi differ from those of Cheng Zhu in the early and middle Song dynasties. These differences appear to be subtle, but they lead to the slightest loss and the result of a thousand miles. It is these quietly deviated so that Neo-Confucianism presented a contradictory appearance of entering WTO to the two Song Dynasties. The appearance of this phenomenon is the result of the influence of the thought of religion in the early stage of Neo-Confucianism and the leap forward in the thinking of the school of science and thought in Zhejiang in the later period.
