MD902最大特色是采用无尾桨设计。这种设计大大降低了飞行噪音,应该是同级别的直升机中噪音最小的。噪音小是我决定选择MD902的关键点,因为我对直升机的噪音有种与生俱来的排斥,但是我的工作又需要我经常被迫选择直升机出行。而MD902在可供选择的直升机里噪音比较小。并且它的无尾桨的设计还消除了直升机最容易出现的尾桨打地或打伤地面人员的情况,特别适合市内和机场之间的接泊使用。
当初我在选择机型的时候,看了很多同级别的其他型号,但是这一款当数轻型直升机中最大的,可以载乘8人。经过多年的升级,MD902的性能和灵活性比前几代机型更具优势,出厂标配的目录参考价在750万美元左右。而且最大704千米的航程只需要一次摆渡,我就可以从旧金山飞到洛杉矶。
这款直升机另一个优点是它的巡航时间比较长,有4.5个小时,我不用担心直升机很快没有航油。我经常用这架直升机载着国内来的朋友一起沿着黄金海岸飞行。
我不清楚国内MD902的运营支持和售后服务如何,在美国,只要你的MD902出现了问题,指定的专业人员会在第一时间为你提供服务。低噪音也使MD902可以直接飞进美国的很多居民社区。
MD902 adopts the MD proprietary Notar (no tail rotor) technology, which greatly reduces external noise, making it the quietest helicopter in its class. I am intolerant to helicopter noise but my job requires me to travel by helicopter frequently, so MD902 comes as a natural choice. Its Notar design also eliminates the danger of rotor damage or ground staff injury.
Of all the light helicopters I looked into, MD902 is the largest in its class. With a maximum range of 704km, I can fly it between San Francisco and Los Angeles with just one stop.
Another advantage of the helicopter is its 4.5 hour endurance so I don’t need to worry about refueling all the time. I often fly my Chinese friends along the Gold Coast.
I am not sure about the operation support and after-sales service of MD902 in China. In U.S., whenever you have a problem with your MD902, designated technical staff will come to your service first time. The helicopter’s low noise level also gains it access to many residential areas.
