The treatment and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer and the comparison of different therapeutic effects depend on an accurate perioperative staging. Methods: The investigation included the number of cases of lung cancer resection within one year. The preoperative and intraoperative staging data were analyzed. Whether the mediastinal lymph node enlargement was performed by mediastinal probing before surgery was performed according to the CT examination, and whether the intraoperative staging was performed or not. According to the conventional mediastinal lymph node sampling at the time of thoracotomy, only abnormal lymph nodes of the naked eye or routinely dissected mediastinal lymph nodes were removed.
