农村中小学校长队伍的整体素质如何?他们能否适应并实施好新课程?需要进行哪些培训?笔者通过对农村中小学校长队伍现状及培训需求的调查发现,当前农村中小学校长普遍存在的较为突出的问题有:一、教育理论功底薄弱,教育思想不够活跃在对农村中小学103位教师的调查中,有12位教师坦言,他们的校长不是一位有教育思想的人,有91位教师认为“有教育思想,但那是零散的思想”。
