《当代中国军队的军事工作》一书(以下简称军事工作卷),作为《当代中国》丛书军事系统10个选题之一,已由中国社会科学出版社出版发行。这部100万字的大型军事专史著作,以恢宏的气势,流畅的文字,第一次全面系统地记述了新中国成立以来人民解放军军事工作的光辉历程、取得的成就和经验。作为军事工作通史,“军事工作卷”的显著特点是:史实论精,既遵循实事求是的原则,对38年(从新中国成立到1987年)军事工作的重大事件和错综复杂的军事历史,如实表述,不虚美,不掩过;又史论结合,运用马列主义和毛泽东思想,对一些历史事件和重大问题提出公允看法和独到见解,揭示和平时期军事工作的发展规律。因此,它是一部既具有可靠的史料价值,又有一定理论尝试的权威性军事著作。“军事工作卷”一书采取纵横交叉的结构,脉络清晰,科学严谨。作为全书开篇的《绪论》,简要地叙述了新中国成立以前人民解放军军事工作的发展情况和主要经验;接着是第一编,记述了新中国成立以后
The book entitled “Military Work of Contemporary Chinese Armed Forces” (hereinafter referred to as the “Military Work Volume”) has been published by China Social Sciences Press as one of the 10 topics in the military system of the “Contemporary China” series. For the first time, this 100-megabyte large-scale monograph on military history records, with magnificent momentum and fluent writing, a comprehensive and systematic account of the glorious course, achievements and experiences of the PLA’s military work since the founding of People’s Republic of China. As a general history of military work, the remarkable feature of the “volume of military work” is: The theory of the essence of history is based on the principle of seeking truth from facts and truthfully states the major events and complicated military history of military work in the past 38 years (from the founding of New China to 1987) Unmanzagery and not covering up.
