The body’s bones and muscles can be composed of a variety of different levers to facilitate the body’s movement. The bone can act as a lever arm. The joint between the bones is usually the pivot point around which the lever rotates, and the muscle can provide the force to rotate the lever. We have produced four different types of human leverage models for students who specialize in science to use in experiments that do not require calculus. These models introduce students to the concepts of torque and conditions for balancing objects with rotating axes in an interesting way. In the experiment, students increase the load △W on the lever (for example,
