孙宅巍在《首座南京大屠杀遇难军人纪念碑》一文中指出:近年来,新闻媒体向社会报道了南京“抗日粤军烈士墓”之碑的相关信息。笔者根据该碑碑名及碑文的内容考证,此座纪念碑应是遍布南京城内外20余座南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念碑中的首座南京大屠杀遇难军人纪念碑。抗日粤军烈士墓碑位于南京中央门外张王庙40号“广东山庄”墓园之中。据该山庄负责人介绍,1937年“八一三”淞沪抗战中,粤军伤兵运至南京后,住在城南八府塘后方医院,广东同乡会及社会各界咸前往慰问,后部分伤兵伤愈出院,还剩一二百人
