近年颁布高中英语《教学大纲》、新《课程标准》和考试中心公布的《考试说明》,要求高中学生英语阅读的培养方向是:以每分钟70个单词左右的速度,读懂生词率不超过3%的有关人物传记、故事、记叙文、科普小品和有关社会文化、文史知识等不同题材的阅读材料。而在对学生的阅读实践的指导过程中,教师除了在知识上、能力上以及心理上对学生培养指导外,还应在技巧上引领学生,让学生多体会,多揣摩。在此,试论如何引领学生把英语文章中的长句、复杂句“短”读,以便能正确理解文意。
