After a rough couple of years， Justin Bieber is ready to leave the pranks[恶作剧] and bad boy behavior behind and focus on his music again. From making multiple[许多的] appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show注 and making a public apology to braving[勇敢面对] a Comedy Central roast[吐槽会]， Justin is making a serious effort to show fans he’s a changed guy. And now， the singer is getting really real about his bad boy behavior.
“I was rebelling[反叛的] a little bit，” Justin explained of his bad boy behavior. “I was getting cockier[自大的] and cockier. I didn’t have people to check me.”
While he admits he didn’t always have the best role models， he’s owning up to[承认错误] his mistakes—and proving his very public apology tour is about much more than publicity[宣传].
“I looked back and I was disappointed in myself，” he said. “You have to own up to the mistakes. You have to say， ‘I’m sorry if I’ve let you down.’”
Despite the doubters[怀疑者]， Justin wants to show everyone he’s so much more than a few bad choices he’s made in the past.
“I always want to be honest and let people know that those mistakes aren’t who I am. Who I am is someone who really cares about people.”
