镀有氧化铟锡和氧化锡之类氧化传导材料的冷阴极用于封离式CO_2激光器的直流气体放电。与没有镀层的金属阴极相反,激光功率的提高和气体放电的稳定这两个方面的激光性能均受影响。质谱研究揭示了激光功率的增强和与此类镀层阴极有关的CO_2含量增加的相关性。
A cold cathode coated with an oxide conductive material such as indium tin oxide and tin oxide is used for DC gas discharge of a sealed off CO 2 laser. In contrast to uncoated metal cathodes, both the laser performance of laser power enhancement and gas discharge stabilization are affected. Mass spectrometry studies revealed the correlation between enhanced laser power and increased CO 2 content associated with such coated cathodes.
