【Abstract】Learning any language needs abundant reading, therefore, extra-curricular reading is an essential component for learning English. It not only broadens students views, but also increases Ss’s knowledge. Equipped with a lot of cognitive ability, students can improve English.

One. Motivation maintenance:reading interest motivation is fundamental
