《中共中央国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》中指出:“实施素质教育,就是全面贯彻党的教育方针,以提高国民素质为根本宗旨,以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点,造就‘有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律’的、德智体等全面发展的社会主义事业的建设者和接班人。”实施素质教育,培养目标是“全面发展的人,而不是单纯的知识。”。美国教育家杜威指出“把单纯积累知识和教育等同起来是荒唐的。”实施素质教育,特别是实施小学数学素质教育,笔者以下几点思考,是值得注意的。
