Due to the presence of noise, the only solution to the resistivity profile of the formation can not be obtained by inversion with an induction logging curve. In this paper, three algorithms are used to retrieve the induction logging data. The first algorithm uses a maximum smoothness criterion to get the acquired resistivity profile as close to a constant as possible.
