In the computer architecture, multiprocessing is not a new concept, but an old one. Nowadays, it has aroused people’s interest because of the fact that on the one hand it is more and more difficult to improve the performance of sequential processors by one order of magnitude on the one hand, and more and more high-performance 32-bit microprocessors on the other hand. The 32-bit microprocessor (available with coprocessors) supports a design approach that uses high-volume, low-cost devices to replace high-priced, low-cost devices to build high-performance systems.
