培养学生的核心素养即培养学生的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。其途径是通过对听力材料不同设题,循环训听培养学生的听力;通过掌握每个单元设置的话题句培养学生的思维品质和口语能力;通过循环阅读培养学生发现问题、解决问题的能力;通过对学生在传统文化方面的写作训练来培养学生的文化意识。
理论依据:新课程标准提出,学科核心素养是学科育人价值的集中体现,是学生通过学习而逐步形成的正确价值观念、必备品格和关键能力的重要途径。英语学科素养主要包括语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。
那么在英语教学中如何将核心素养贯穿于高中英语听、说、读、写这四个环节之中呢?
一、通过循环方法来提高学生的听力
对于以汉语为母语的人来说,循环听是非常好的听力提高办法。以下是将已经听过的高考听力模拟训练最后一题进行改编成听短文填词语、听短文填句子的两个训练题。
以《高考英语听力模拟考场》(黄河出版传媒集团宁夏人民出版社)第51套听力最后一题为例,(听力原文略)设题如下:
(一)听短文填单词或短语(设题不能太密,要给学生作答时间)
Walt has two daughters. He took them1.——————. They liked to go to amusement parks. Walt dreamed of making a beautiful amusement park that 2.———————— as well as children would like. “My park would be 3———————— , and it would be clean and safe. People would come from 4.———————— to see it.” His dream came true with Disneyland.

二、通过设置话题句培养学生的思维品质、口语和写作能力
针对每个单元话题设置一些培养学生的逻辑性、批判性和创新性等方面的句子,供学生背诵内化成自己口语、写作的素材。熟练掌握并经常应用美词美句有利于培养学生良好的思维品质。
如:人教版必修五Unit 5 First Aid这一课,我们设置了10个话题句,其中一条是“即使我们对病人实施了急救,我们还要送她或他去医院作进一步检查治疗。Even if we have offered first aid to a patient, we will have to send him or her to hospital for further treatment。”这样有利于培养学生基本的医务知识。
针对从“科学家的事无人问津,文艺工作者的私事被炒得天下红”,到对文艺工作者一片谩骂等不理性的现象,在学习人教版必修五 Unit 1 Great Scientists这一课,我们设置了话题句“袁隆平生活简朴,他经常把大笔钱捐出来用于农业研究。Yuan Longping lives a simple life and often devotes big sums of money to agricultural
