激励的另外一个原则是激励必须和目标简单对应,如果目标过于分散则会削弱激励的效果。商君书原文“利出一空者,其国无敌;利出二空者,国半利;利出十空者,其国不守。”激励的方向太多就等于没有激励。KPI作为关键绩效指标的精髓在关键二字,如果指标过多就无法起到行为引导作用。有的企业家不明白这个原则,既想鼓励员工竞争又想鼓励员工合作,这样无论竞争还是合作都做不好。企业文化的导向功能紊乱,伤害组织效率。
