Located in the southern tip of Anhui Province, Huizhou is known as Zou Lu in the southeast. Among the many historical and cultural heritages, Huizhou houses are unique and enjoy a good reputation both at home and abroad. Most of the Huizhou dwellings were built in the Ming and Qing dynasties and were distributed in counties (cities) in the Huizhou region, especially in Lixian and Li County. Huizhou dwelling houses are known for their overall planning, and they are known for their ability to support the mountains and rivers; they mainly consist of three-storey courtyards or courtyards, independent two-story masonry buildings, and they are tall and straight.
