Harbin Cultural Island is located in the Songhua River north bank of the large Riverside Park, close to Harbin New District. The planning of Harbin’s cultural island has fully taken into account the integration of urban features and natural landscape and created various indoor and outdoor cultural exchange spaces of vitality. Songhua River throughout the year changing the flow path engraved in the northeast plains meandering traces give MAD design inspiration. While considering the local rich and diverse natural resources, architects also fully consider the protection of existing wetlands and trees: recreation and recreation spaces and trails are interspersed into landscapes and vegetation so that most of the wetlands in the site are endowed with park functions Outside retained its original natural attributes.
