近年来,中国台湾地区重视科技教育,尤其是物理教育,已成为台湾地区教育界的共识。他们采用对天赋较高的中学生的重点培训,以推动全岛物理教学水准的提高,并称这种举措为“资优教育计划”。 这个计划的正式推行始于1972年,由该地区“教育部”制定了《国民小学资赋优异教育计划》。1982年又相继公布了《中学数学及自然学科资赋优异学生辅导升学要点》以及《高级中学数学及自然学科学习成就优异学生辅导实验计划》,前者使科学学科诸方面天赋较高的学生能经过教育权威机构甄别测试而保送升入高一级学校,为“天才”学生脱颖而出提供了条件;后者则委托四所大学和台湾中央研究院对高中资优学生进行数理学科辅导的实验。
In recent years, Taiwan’s emphasis on science and technology education, especially physics education, has become the consensus of the educational community in Taiwan. They adopted key training for high-caliber middle school students in order to promote the improvement of physics teaching standards across the island, and called this a “gifted education program”. The formal implementation of this plan began in 1972, and the “Ministry of Education” in the region formulated the “Primary School Elementary Education Outstanding Education Plan”. In 1982, the “Outline of Excellent Middle School Maths and Natural Sciences Grants for Elementary Students” and “Outstanding Student Tutoring Experiments for Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Senior High Schools” were announced one after another. The former enables students with a high degree of talent in science subjects to pass through. Education authorities have tested and sent them to higher-level schools to provide conditions for “genius” students to come to the fore; the latter commissioned four universities and the Central Research Institute of Taiwan to conduct experiments in mathematics and science for high school gifted students.
