正如在上期讲座中提到的,企业认为ERP建起来就万事大吉,一切变动等到上ERPⅡ的时候再说。很多时候,企业发现他们的ERP没有达到最佳效果,却不设法加以改善。结果,他们获得的ROI(投资回报)不够高,而TCO(总体拥有成本)又超支。要弥补这些,企业应着手改进已有的ERP,改善他们的现状,并为未来的协同交互做好准备。改善ERP部分程度上就是向ERPⅡ的转化。
As mentioned in the previous lecture, companies think that ERP will be built and everything will change until the ERPII. Many times companies find that their ERP has not achieved the best results, but they have not managed to improve it. As a result, their ROI (return on investment) is not high enough, and TCO (total cost of ownership) is overspending. To make up for this, companies should begin to improve existing ERP, improve their status quo, and prepare for future collaborative interactions. Part of the improvement of ERP is the conversion to ERPII.
