北京民办科技实业在全国率先崛起。80年代初,北京第一个民办科技机构萌芽破土,当80年代最后一个金秋莅临的时候,北京民办科技实业已长成参天大树,硕果垂枝。目前,北京大约有近2000家民办科技机构,从业人员近4万人,其中科技人员约占50％。1988年研究开发3000多个项目,营业额14亿元。在北京民办科技实业家协会举办的国庆四十周年献礼活动中,仅25家民办科技机构研究开发的75项新技术成果,其中就有3项被列入国
Beijing private technology industry in the country took the lead in the rise. In the early 1980s, the first non-governmental scientific and technological institution in Beijing sprouted. When the last autumn of the 1980s came, Beijing's non-state-owned science and technology industry had grown into a towering tree with fruit hanging. At present, Beijing has about 2,000 privately-run scientific and technological institutions with nearly 40,000 employees, of whom about 50% are scientific and technical personnel. In 1988, more than 3,000 projects were researched and developed with a turnover of 1.4 billion yuan. Of the 75 new technological achievements researched and developed by only 25 privately-run scientific and technological institutions in the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China held by the Private Technology Industrialists Association, three of them were included in the list
