许多家长重视开发幼儿的智力,却不知道一个人单是智力好而非智力因素差,并非人才。而且,如果单纯在智力的开发上下功夫,不重视非智力因素的培养,开发智力的效果也往往并不理想。非智力因素是指不直接参加认识过程的心理因素,主要有:品德、动机、兴趣、情感、意志、毅力、行为、习惯等。这些非智力因素对智力开发起着促进甚至是主导的特殊作用。我们知道,对人的教育过程大致分为四个阶段即认识阶段、情感阶段、意志阶段、行为阶段。这四个阶段体现了育人成才的一般过程。例如给孩子讲雷锋叔叔的故事,他首先是听懂了故事的内容,了解了雷锋叔叔的动人事迹,即获得了有关雷锋的知识,才产生了爱雷锋叔叔的感情,进而有了学习雷锋叔叔的意志和行为。在这里,只有认识阶段中对客观事物的认识是智力因素,情感、意志、行为都是非智力因素。可见在教育过程中更为充分的发挥育人作用的是非智
