In high school English reading teaching, many teachers still put vocabulary and grammar analysis in reading teaching on the forefront of teaching. Students read slowly and have poor understanding. The formation of senior high school students’ English reading ability can not rely on grammar, sentence pattern and vocabulary, but also depends on effective reading strategies and techniques. The reading strategy is trained under the long-term cultivation of the teacher’s system. The new curriculum standards emphasize that the students should take the initiative as the main body and give students the initiative to acquire knowledge so as to fundamentally change the negative and passive status of the students in the teaching process.
