Application of task analysis in the geography teaching design of high school can guide teachers to choose teaching strategies and solve the problem of how to teach. The general procedure of task analysis has two steps: classify learning objectives into teaching objectives; and analyze learning conditions based on the type of learning. Mission analysis stems from the selection and training of Western military and corporate personnel. As a specialized technique in teaching design, its initial theory mainly came from Gagne’s theory of learning and teaching. Pi Lian students believe that the choice of teaching methods must be based on the results of mission analysis.
