Talk to Scott Mccaly, CEO of SUN, who is always talkative, and you hear his favorite pun: “There’s no wisdom in traditional wisdom.” He used Their own experience to verify this sentence. In 1995, all of Sun’s competitors, HP, IBM, and DEC, were busy developing new servers that could run new Microsoft Win-dows software. Wall Street analysts bet that McNealy would make the same decision with the crowd this time around. But he refused, but instead started investing in Sun’s own operating system, calling it Solaris. The rest of the way made McNealy look good. Competitors’ servers can not match Sun’s servers in terms of speed, reliability, and security. When high-tech prosperity began, Sun’s servers became a necessity for thousands of emerging networks and financial companies, and Sun’s sales surged and profits surged. Six years later, when the high-tech boom that began in 1990 came to a complete end, Wall Street gave McNealy plenty of advice, including preparing for the coming storm; drastically cutting R & D; slashing jobs; and focusing on low-cost products. Again, McNealy insisted. IT industry has strongly praised the characters such as Mc-Nealy, he has uncompromising determination, sharp eloquence, never blush idealism, all this is enough to make him an idol of young people, everyone loudly for his personality cheer. The second half of 2000 high-tech industries step
