Objective: To further explore the value of EEG in the diagnosis of children with Tourette’s syndrome. Methods: In this paper, 45 children with multiple tic disorder were subjected to EEG recording and the ideal signal segment was selected for analysis. 24 cases were found abnormal, the abnormal rate was 53.3%. Among them, 6 cases were moderate abnormalities, accounting for 25%. Encephalography showed occasional spikes on the background of high-amplitude δ and θ wavelength range; mild abnormalities were found in 18 cases, accounting for 75% The occurrence of high amplitude δ, θ wave activity, with short-range appears; normal 21 cases, compared with the same age group, poor regulation of EEG, waveform messy. CONCLUSION: EEG reflects brain function and provides more information through computer analysis. EEG is easy to operate, painless and noninvasive, and is easily accepted by children. It has high application in the early clinical diagnosis of Tourette’s disease value.
