视频市场潜藏危机,但也充满机遇。从前几年人们竞相讨论的互联网泡沫,到现阶段互联网视频泡沫,不论是观念还是行动网络视频已进入“飞速发展”时期。2006年是中国网络视频元年,视频市场规模将达到0.23亿元。2007年将达0.6亿元,急速增长160%。预计到2010年,这个市场规模将达2.8亿元。自从YouTube神话传入国内短短一年时间,几百家视频分享网站在国内破土而出,众多视频网站企图在这一领域分一杯羹。但由于缺乏有效的商业运营模式这一“先天不足”,国内众多视频网站目前仍陷于无法盈利的尴尬局面。
