特殊钢厂在八一年以前,由于管理体制不健全,职工教育工作进展缓慢。八○年市冶金系统三十七个单位评比中,被排在二十六位。为了把职工教育工作搞上去,厂第七届职工代表大会讨论,决定对职工教育实行民主管理。两年多来,根据中央《关于加强职工教育工作的决定》精神,紧紧抓住干部培训和青工文化、技术补课两个重点,共开办干部脱产班四期,青工初中文化脱产班十九个,半脱产和业余班三十多个。预计八三年年底将有百分之七十至八十的青工拿到初中文化补
