I conducted classroom teaching reform, guiding students to carry out scientific and technological activities since 1983. At that time, our scientific and technological activities mainly focused on collecting and producing biological specimens and doing some small experiments and small observations. Although our science and technology activities were honored by provinces, prefectures and counties, the experimental reports of the time were rather superficial because of the tentative stage of education reform and the insufficient emancipation of the mind and the lack of confidence in the students’ ability to write a well-balanced essay.
