人文教育是现代教育的重要组成部分,它的根本目标是让学生学做进步的现代人。即要通过提高人文素养使人活得更自觉、更高尚、更高雅,使现代人拥有更开阔的心胸,更加重视精神追求。要实现人文教育的目标,必须在加强人文学科教育的同时,注重人文实践活动,不能把人文教育仅仅等同于人文学科知识教学。针对我国人文教育的现状,政府和社会应为学校开展人文教育创造良好的外部人文环境,学校本身则需要特别重视给学生提供表现人文精神的机会,重视挖掘各学科教学的人文底蕴。
Humanities education is an important part of modern education. Its fundamental goal is to enable students to learn to make progress in the modern world. That is to say, people should be made more conscious, noble and elegant by raising their humanistic qualifications so that the modern people will have a broader mind and pay more attention to spiritual pursuits. In order to achieve the goal of humanistic education, we must pay attention to humanistic practice while strengthening humanities education, and we should not equate humanistic education with humanistic knowledge teaching only. In view of the current situation of humanities education in our country, the government and society should create a good external humanities environment for the school to carry out humanities education. However, the school itself needs to pay special attention to providing students opportunities to express their humanistic spirit.
