Scientific observations show that the average global temperature has increased by 0.6-0.9°C over the past 100 years. This shows that the global climate has a warming trend. The following four examples are typical evidence. First, the Alps are “melting” According to the British “Observer” reported on July 20, 2003, the permanent frozen layer of the Alps is disappearing. The many catastrophic events that have occurred in recent years, including the Austrian avalanche that caused more than 50 deaths four years ago, are due to the looseness of the permanent frozen layer.
