Various demands on the fuel injection system in turn lead to the emergence of various types of fuel injection systems that have their advantages and disadvantages over the other systems to be discussed. Test results for all of these systems according to AVL show that the differences between them are evident from an assessment of engine performance, emissions, fuel consumption and noise.
