对我国近代史颇有影响和贡献的著名爱国志士丘逢甲,过去曾在很长时间内未予应有的研究和公允的评价。十一届三中全会以来,这一局面虽有了可喜的变化,但是,从1955年直至1993年出版的中国近代史一类的专著看,对丘逢甲的正确评价尚未完全解决。之所以如此,影响的焦点是人们对丘逢甲谋建“台湾民主国”这段经历褒贬不一。按照马列主义的观点,一事物总是与它事物相联系的。评判一个事件或一个人物,也应以辩证的观点对待之。如果联系着丘逢甲在乙未前、未乙间、乙未后的人生实践,可以清楚地看到,丘的一生确有一条炽热的爱国主义的思想红线贯穿其中。如能从这条主线出发,不仅“台湾民主国”的评价问题可以解决,丘逢甲评价上的最根本的问题也就可迎刃而解了。
The famous patriot Chi Feng Chia, who has had an influence and contribution to the modern history of our country, has not given due research and a fair evaluation in the past for a long time. Although the situation has been gratifying since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, the correct appraisal of Qiu Fengjia has not yet been fully resolved from a monograph on modern history in China published from 1955 to 1993. The reason for this is that the focus of the impact is the mixed opinions on the part of Qiu Fengjia seeking to establish “Taiwan’s democracies.” According to Marxism-Leninism, a thing is always associated with it. Judging an event or a person should also be treated in a dialectical way. If we contact Qiu Feng-chia’s practice in B Weiwei, Bianbu and Bibei, we can clearly see that there is indeed a hot red line of patriotism in his life. If we can proceed from this main line, not only the evaluation problem of “Taiwan’s democracies” can be solved, but the most fundamental issue on the evaluation of Qiu Fengjia can be solved.
