我于去年上学期到蓬溪县中担任初八二级两个班的英语教学工作。一年来,我边教边学,注意改进教学方法,在去年全地区统一命题的初中升高中、中专的考试中,我教的两个班60人参加考试,平均成绩73.4分,只有五人不及格,名列全县第一。在教学过程中,我始终坚持以学生活动为主,教师精讲,学生多练。每堂课先给同学20多分钟时间预习新课内容。单词由学生拼读,我进行纠正,重要的动词和词组由学生先作简单的解释,不对的地方由我讲解。学句型练习时,我只先教句式,然后出示不同的单词和词组,让学生进行大量的替换练习,直到能正确运用这一句型为止。如学习宾语从句,我先讲读:I think she will be back in an hour。然后让学生讲练:
I went to Pengxi County last semester as the first eight two classes of English teaching. Over the past year, I have been teaching and learning and paying attention to improving teaching methods. In the middle school examinations of the unified proposition of the whole region last year, 60 students from two classes attended the exam, with an average score of 73.4 and only five Fail, ranked first in the county.
