The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) generally has two meanings: First, it refers to the international agreement, that is, the document that stipulates the rules of international trade; it also refers to the international organizations that support the above-mentioned international agreements. GATT is no longer existing as an international organization and it has been replaced by the WTO. However, GATT still exists as an agreement, but it is not the subject of the international trade rules document and has been revised and updated. The updated GATT text is called GATT1997. When GATT was first created after the Second World War, international business was only a trade in goods. However, since then, trade in services such as transportation, tourism, banking, insurance, telecommunications, transportation, and consulting has gradually evolved. The intellectual and intellectual trade in inventions, designs, etc. has become even more important. Now, goods, services and intellectual property have become the three major concerns of international trade.
