教育是一项面向未来的事业。从本世纪九十年代进入小学学习的学生,到他们高中毕业就业或升学时已是21世纪了。因此,现在人们正在注视着新世纪的数学教育,预测种种可能,以便把握发展方向,开展数学教育改革。由于当今世界科学技术迅猛发展,国际竞争加剧,新的教育思想、理论不断涌现。加上数学教育自身的复杂性,要详细勾画出21世纪中学数学教育的蓝图是困难的。但我们从近来几次国内外数学教育会议的研讨中,仍可看出它的若干重要特征,展现出新世纪中学数学教育的概貌。下面。我们仅就它的若干特征作些探讨。
Education is a business for the future. It is already the 21st century when students who entered primary school in the 1990s have graduated from high school, graduated from employment, or entered higher education. Therefore, people are now watching the mathematics education in the new century and predicting various possibilities in order to grasp the direction of development and carry out mathematics education reforms. Due to the rapid development of science and technology in the world and the intensification of international competition, new educational ideas and theories have emerged. In addition to the complexity of mathematics education, it is difficult to outline the blueprint for mathematics education in middle schools in the 21st century. However, we can still see a number of important features of the mathematics education in the new century from the recent discussions in the Mathematics Education Conference at home and abroad. the following. We only discuss some of its features.
