英国哲学家 Sir Alfred J.艾耶尔(Ayer)生于1910年,于1989年6月27日逝世。艾耶尔曾在牛津大学从师于哲学家赖尔,以后在维也纳学习,1933年后到牛津教授哲学,他曾任精神哲学格罗提(Grote)讲座教授。1946年在伦敦大学教逻辑。1959年在牛津任威克海姆(Wykeham)逻辑讲座教授。1970年获爵士称号。艾耶尔主要研究知觉与意义等问题,发表论著捍卫一种一般看来是经验主义的观点。主要著作如下:《语言、真理与逻辑》(Language,Truth and Logic,1936),该书提出逻辑实
British philosopher Sir Alfred J. Ayer was born in 1910 and died on June 27, 1989. Ayer studied philosophy at the University of Oxford Ryers, later studied in Vienna, and later to Oxford in 1933 to teach philosophy, he was Professor of philosophy and philosophy of God Grotti (Grote) lecture. Teaching logic at London University in 1946. 1959 Professor of Logic Lectures at Wykeham in Oxford. 1970 won the title of jazz. Ayer focuses on issues such as perception and meaning, and publishes treatises in defense of a generally seemingly empiricist perspective.
