New Historicism was born in the 1980s, is a new genre of literary criticism. It has the three most important concepts, namely “historicity of text”, “historical textuality” and “deep description.” Advocating the analysis of texts should not be limited to the texts themselves, but should be placed in the historical and socio-cultural contexts in which the texts are generated, focusing on history, texts, and the relationship between the two, providing people with an opportunity to study literature, history and culture A completely new perspective and methodological foundation has also had a significant impact on other areas, including the field of translation.
