五十年代后期建成的首都十大建筑之一的北京人民大会堂,历经四十年风雨后,去年开始了外墙翻新。经过全国送样、专家评选,福建省民族英雄郑成功的家乡——南安市石井镇产出的“锈石”花岗岩被选作建筑物全部外墙翻新改造的专用石材,总需量约5万m~2。 为了落实石井“锈石”矿山资源和开采加工条件,北京人民大会堂管理局领导曾带领专家小组专程来福建现场考察。对该“锈石”矿山丰富的储藏量、优良的品质以及良好的开采加工运输条件均留下深刻的印象。
Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, one of the ten largest buildings in the capital built in the late 1950s, began renovation of its exterior walls last year after 40 years of storms. After national sampling and expert selection, “Rust Stone” granite produced by Shijing Town, Nanan City, the hometown of Zheng Chenggong, the national hero of Fujian Province, was selected as the special stone for the renovation of the entire exterior wall of the building, with a total demand of approximately 50,000 m. ~2. In order to implement the Ishii “Rust Stone” mine resources and mining processing conditions, the leaders of the Beijing Great Hall of the People’s Management Bureau have led the expert team to make a special trip to Fujian for on-site inspections. The “rust stone” mine has left a deep impression on its abundant reserves, excellent quality and good conditions for mining, processing and transportation.
