INTRODUCTION Although the problem of surface deformation caused by the mining of coal seam or other mineral raw materials within the fault zone has existed for a long time, this issue has not been widely studied and noticed until now. The solution to this problem is important for downhole mining in densely-populated areas (sensitive industrial buildings and engineering structures). Under particularly unfavorable geologic mining conditions, the exploitation of fault zones can result in downhole gushing. Mining a deposit in this area will, in the first instance, lead to increased mine pressure on the work surface. Therefore, it is impossible to deposit without loss, and it is necessary to keep some pillars regularly. But whether it is mining
