我们在阅卷完毕以后,又从上饶市各个考区抽出了好、中、差三类数学试卷74份,着重就代数和几何的考试情况进行了研究。我省1962年高中招生考试试题的内容比较广泛,要求解题的方法也比较灵活。从试卷来看,学生学习质量,比往年是有一定的提高的。他们解题的思路比较正确,方法也比较多样。例如,对算术根的意义,百分之九十以上学生都能掌握,如 R=4~(1/2)=2,R~2=4,则 R=±2,并能根据题意说明负根应该舍去。几何方面,绝大部分学生都知道将圆铁片改成一个最大的正方形,就是圆内接正方形,并能正确地作出图形,不了解的仅占9%;许多学生还能利用三角形
