阿东其人孙开东先生,艺名阿东,英文名KEVEN。阿东出身于烹饪世家,其祖父曾是皇宫御厨,有一手烹制鲍鱼、山珍海味的高超技艺。其父曾任新加坡华世大饭店总厨,也以烹制鲍鱼而闻名,被美食家们誉为鲍鱼满街香。阿东深受家庭熏陶,十分喜爱中华美食,受教于著名烹饪大师康辉先生、彭长海先生、陈松如先生、代仕禄先生、张志广、冯志伟先生等人,有幸得到日本熊谷家族烹鲍大使加根一郎先生真传。阿东将厨艺发挥淋漓尽致,多次受到中外领导人的赞扬和肯定。澳门行政长官何厚铧先生在品尝了阿东亲自煲制的鲍鱼后,为其亲笔题词“鲍鱼至尊”。阿东自小学习厨艺,从事烹饪工作至今已有二十余年,1987年获北京冷菜交流会第二名、2000年荣获首届中国美食节名菜名点大赛金奖、2001年荣获全国粤菜烹饪技术大赛金奖、2004年第三届全国名厨交流比赛研讨会获金牌。阿东曾在海口市环岛泰得大酒店、北京昆仑饭店任厨师长,在欧陆风韵广场、上海海上皇鲍翅楼任行政总厨,在泰港大酒楼、香港凤圆国际商务酒店任鲍鱼总监,现为中国烹饪协会会员、法国美食协会会员、香港酒店及餐务管理协会会员、派尔花园酒店出品总监。
