上世纪初期的管理学家巴纳德,曾经在《经理的职能》一书中说道:“如果经理人员发出的一个指令性的沟通交往信息为被通知人所接受,那么对他来说,这个权力就是被遵从或成立了。如果被通知人不接受这种沟通交往信息,就是拒绝了这种权力。”由此我们看出,一个领导者真正的权力来源并不是组织的赋予,也不是来自自己的强悍性格,归根到底是来自下属的真正认可。为此,针对巴纳德的权威接受论分析论证了领导者权力的真正来源是下属的认可。
Barnard, a management scientist at the beginning of the last century, once wrote in The Function of Managers: “If an orderly communication of information from a manager is accepted by the notifier, This power is either complied with or established, and if the person being notified does not accept such communication, he / she rejects the power. ”Thus we see that the real source of authority for a leader is not the endowment of the organization nor Not from their own powerful character, in the final analysis is truly recognized from subordinates. Therefore, Barnard’s authoritative acceptance theory demonstrates that the real source of leader’s power is subordinate’s approval.
