MALL(音译“摩尔”,指大型购物中心)发端于20世纪50年代的美国,现已成为欧美国家的零售业主流,销售额已占据其社会消费品总额的一半左右。最近我国商界也兴起一股造MALL运动,北京、上海、广州、深圳、武汉、大连、成都、青岛、西安等地纷纷上马了一批MALL项目,继连锁超市、大卖场之后,MALL正在掀起我国商业新一轮的业态革命。
MALL (translated as “Moore” means a shopping mall) originated in the 1950s in the United States and has now become the mainstream retailer in the United States and Europe with sales accounting for about half of its total social consumer goods. Recently, a large number of MALL campaigns have also emerged in the business community in China. A number of MALL projects have been launched in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Dalian, Chengdu, Qingdao and Xi’an. Following the chain supermarkets and hypermarkets, the MALL is setting off China Business a new round of format revolution.
